There were actually two different examples of the 6000BAC sold on the 
place last year.  The first was #220047789717 and had a toggle switch 
added for power on-off.  I think it was Bill Donzelli who commented 
about that addition, which appears to have been necessitated by 
replacement of the volume control pot, and the repair person not 
being able to find one with a switch on the back, likely needing a 2 
pole job for the separate AC and battery circuits.  

The second one was #110042738561, and it had a sheet of flat plastic 
installed in place of the formed dial cover, which was in bad shape 
on the first example above, and in horrible shape on Dave's.  OTOH, 
the odd bolt in the front cover of item 1 above is obviously plugging 
a hole for the power cable as seen in item 2, so that explains that.

So these sets are not unknown, and someone on here mentioned having a 
manual, so I sent that information to Dave separately.

Maybe if someone collected enough of these, a correct example could 
be assembled from their various unmodified parts.
