	You know me too well! URC-9( basic radio), SRC-21 same set with remote
dialup control, SRC-20 has dial up and a 100watt amp and replaced the
AN/GRC-27. The bastards ate blower motors like crazy. I don't think they
were planned for the pleasantries in SE Asia. The URC-9 replaced the single
freq TED/RED (URT-7/URR-35) and had selectable channels but was nowhere as
tough. Everytime a set burned up you had to bench it and re-track the thing
by touching up thr capacitor tabs. Hours of fun....   Hell, I'll buy the
manual set as a reminder of my mis-spent youth....on the way to an equally
odd seniority.
