[Milsurplus] 10 meters w/BC684,924 xmtrs

 Has anyone tried to have any skeds on 10 meters using these xmtrs? With
the upcoming sunspot activity it might be interesting to try. Yes ,
there are quite a few post WW2 rigs that will work here but I'm looking
at trying to use these older war horses. The BC 659 would work too. Even
with the 2 watts the 659 puts out you can work some distance when band
conditions are right. 

 I was told of hams here in the San Francisco bay area that use to work
GI's in occupied Japan after the war on 10 meters using the 659.A
popular spot was to mobile up to the area around the Cliff House
overlooking the Pacific and operate there.
