Several of the old line crystal manufacturers still make custom 
crystals.  Since it has been several years since I ordered anything, 
I will withhold personal comments, but Bry's has a long list to look 
at for starters.:

Chesson lists all the WW2 mfrs, a tiny few of whom are still around.  
Perhaps you will recognize the name or location.  I was surprised to 
see JAN is apparently still in business in Ft. Meyers.  They started 
out in Ft. Worth as Texas Crystals, selling surplus FT-243 rocks from 
Carswell AFB.  Used to be a good place to drop in and grab a handfull 
cheap about 50 years ago.
