The DOD repainted scads of things for higher viewer contrast in '46 in
above-ground bomb-effect tests @ Los Alamos.

Per one Blake Hawkins who was there, AN/AXT-n iconoscope TV systems watched
the gear right up to the last microsecond.  The AN/AXR-n counterparts
had motion pic cameras rolling for later analysis

Could this have been an unused survivor?
