Hi,

My day job is at a museum, and I agree with Bill Donzelli that you can't realistically put those kind of conditions on a donation.

Loans are a good way to go if you want to support a museum.  If they no longer want to display your stuff, you can get it back.  I have some one-of-a-kind items in a local museum where they are on display but cleaner than at home and in air conditioning which I don't have.  They are also in a building with 24-hour security.  I have signed agreements renewed annually, which is common practice.
