I've done business with him a time or two. In terms of reliability, he's fine. However, his prices are, IMO, on the high side of "barely acceptable" and more often edging into "dumb."
Example: I bought what was reported to be a near-new Motorola battery eliminator from Panik's. When it arrived, it turned out that the protection electronics had been removed, and the whole $90 affair consisted of a couple of lengths of rubber test lead wire just slobbered onto the interior contacts.
I (politely) griped, and was offered a refund. I sent the thing back, and the refund promptly appeared.
In summary: Caveat emptor! Inspect anything you buy from Panik's VERY carefully, but don't have any fear about getting a refund if it doesn't live up to your expectations.
Happy hunting.
