Good question. Same connector is used on the BC-223 xmtr (SCR-245). Been
through all my BC-312/342 , SCR 299 and SCR-399 manuals and can't find any
reference to what would have been the mating cable end and only the most passing
mention of the panel mounted socket. In fact, scarcely any mention at all of
hooking up the receivers in the 299 and 399 books.
I do have a couple of examples of the cable end connector but close
examination reveals no identifying information of any kind. Only ID number I can find
is on a right angle adapter I have which is labeled "FT-177-A."
