Thanks to everyone for the great ideas on getting this job done.
I will be pulling the R-4B dial next week and will use it as a pattern
I planned to scan and clean-up the dial , then print it back to 
a clear overhead sheet for transfer to the new dial.
I've seen the R/W CDROM drives that will burn a design on 
the disc itself and I'd like to try that, but can't afford to upgrade
to one of those machines just yet; too many other bills ;-).

Thanks again for the outstanding advice.  I'll let you know 
what works when I get the job finished.
