[Milsurplus] an/aps-4 info request

hi group,
          i found a date on a tag on the IF section of the radar pod, 
20/11/53 it was last serviced,does anybody have circuit diagrams/ 
manuals? for this radar pod, also all the internal pod parts only have 
the western electric device numbers on them without the JAN numbers and 
also it has the USN logo stamped on most of the sub assemblies,would 
that indicate that the pod is an earlier radar? like the ASD/ASH ?
i'm just interested in learning more about this radar pod.
