Now, there's a movie with copious amounts of period radio gear!

Even as dated as it seems today in some ways, I think it's a great
film. Had they done a remake of that instead of Pearl Harbor with some
slight tweaking (more accurate knowledge of events, no revisionist
stuff) to the story line, with today's special effects, my guess is
that it would have been a blockbuster.
