In the grand scheme of things, I actually believe a completely un-modified
good condition T-47A with O-17 is probably worth $350 (these were fabulously
expensive in WWII), yet this price still seems too high for current market
conditions.

I've been to six Dayton Hamventions since 1996, and at every one there seems
to be a bunch of AN/ART-13 or ATC units in the $200 price range.  I got my
stock USN T-47 with O-16 (a little rarer set than the USAAF set) at a local
hamfest in Alabama for $200 four years ago.   I got my stock USAF T-47A
(minus O-17) from a local Huntsville Alabama surplus parts dealer ten years
ago for $50.
