Several days ago, someone asked about a 417 battery.
I provided info on equivalent part numbers that I pulled
from FedLog.

I received the following message regarding discontinuance
of the 417 and its current substitute/equivalent.

The battery you asked about 417 is no longer manufactured
because it was a mercury  cell 15v.

The replacement is a 411 carbon zinc 15v 140 mAH.
