A 70 pound, over designed, triple conversion , heavy, bulky, hard to
tune, save us from the Ruskies, NMBA (Navy Modern Boat Anchor), a R-1051G
model wound up on my digital bench this week.
I am looking for plug in cards for the RF Translator/Synthesizer section
A2A6 and may need a Frequency Standard Module A2A5 as I do not have the
extender cards for direct single
point component trouble shooting.
The "G" model is some what different from the earlier models as it has a
separate housing for the synthesizer sections and the translator (why
couldn't they just call the translator a a mixer stage anyway? why do we
have to rename everything??)
I am either looking for a complete Parts or perhaps a complete receiver.
Pictures of the basic layout
differences between the G and H models and the earlier models can be seen
