Well, so far I've found in SHIPS 242 where the GF11/RU16
was acquired specifically for the Marines and for
shipboard use, which would make sense because the
vehicles were participating in a landing from ships, afterall.
Haven't found my other references yet.
I also have the photos of them in the vehicle installations
Hue mentioned, somewhere.
My money says this GF/RU set is your best candidate, Robert.
