TCS way too big a deal for such a vehicle.
Somewhere i have a manual for installation of RUGF in Marine Corps
self propelled gun - sri don't recall more of details right now, like
which vehicle M* and which caliber and which RU-*/GF-*. We know
some airfield ambulances were rigged with RUGF also. I would guess
RUGF would be likely in your example also. At least the user didn't
have to concern themself with retuning due to receiver drift! IF
you're sure it's HF, there's really not much choice, IMO, because
most every HF set i can think of was more complicated than fits
this application - unlike some of the other participants' radios in
WW2 - UK WS38 and German FuSprech A come to mind.
