Another thing to remember, something that bit me on
a color TV camera power supply I was working on.

Sometimes capacitors that have been discharged can
rebound, and develop a charge on their own. When this
happened to me, the jolt wasn't so much painful as it
was surprising, a "what the h311 was that?" sort of thing.

But one of the things I worry about, and this applies
to society in general today, is that most of us here have
learned the hard way. We became cautious as a result of
experience.

But newcomers today don't have to deal with high voltages,
therefore don't develop the "6th sense" to avoid danger. But
again, I worry that in general, society has made everything
too safe, and as a result, people don't learn to recognize
dangerous situations.
