That seems very reasonable, except that I'm surprised any KC-97s were still around in 1985.

The APX-72 was one of the most common IFF sets in the US military from the mid-1960s to the 1980s.  We even used the APX-72 as the IFF set on the ballistic missile submarine I served on.

The 618T was likely an AN/ARC-94 (618T-2) or -102 (618T-3).  I believe that this set was manufactured for about 25 years.  It can likely lay claim to being the most popular and long-lived aircraft HF set ever made.  A beautiful unit!
