Huh?  I don't understand your point about ebay ruining the hobby.  I've been
in the electronics business and hobby since the late '50s.  I've bot & sold
tons of equipment through the mail, at real electronics stores, flea
markets, auction, etc.  I've found more rare stuff for my collection in the
past 5 years on ebay than in the previous 40 years combined.  I've also put
some very rare pieces (extras and stuff I don't collect) into the hands of
collectors who really wanted them.  And made good money for my trouble.  You
don't like ebay?  Good for you.  Leaves more neat stuff for me.
