The TBO is basically the same radio, so it really should be included. It
was standard practice in the 1930s for the Navy to "upgrade" the model
nomenclature after a set was tested - TBF became TBK, TBP became TBY, TBO
became TBX, and (sketchy details) TBG became TBL. I think a fair number of
TBOs were produced to replace the aging TAVs - maybe a few hundred? 2200
manuals were printed, anyway.
