TBX manuals are scarce. I've only ever had ones on three models, TBX, TBX-5
and TBX-8 (three different ones on the -8). The TBX contract is NOs-81118
dated 22 January 1941 with supplements dated 01 April 1942 and 01 June 1942.
That's the TBX, first model in the series. TBX-8 contract is NXsr-38500 dated 22
April 1944. So that's six more contracts between June '42 and April '44
(TBX-1 through -6 - remember the Navy standard of incrementing the suffix number
on each new contract - the two supplements to the TBX contract rate as
anomalies). TBX-7 is a limbo set. Only mentioned one place that I know of (manual
for CRF-20337 Vibrator Power Supply). Incidentally, the final manual on the
TBX-8, and the only one I've ever seen with a NAVSHIPS number, is dated 30
October 1945. Cleaning up the mess after the war, I guess.
