Now that I have stepped into the steamy swamp that is German WW2 radio...I
would like to fix up my old EP2 (actually EP2a). It is in pretty rough
shape - light corrosion everywhere, seized knobs, bad paint, and so forth.

What is the general concensus with repainting German sets? I have seen
very few restored this way - nice jobs, by the way - but it seems that
nearly everyone does not want to even touch the paint. Will I be hauled
out and shot if my EP2 gets a respray one of these days?

I suppose I should ask if anyone has maintenance info on the EP2 as
well. And the FuG O3 Teletype terminal.

Someone stop me.
