[Milsurplus] LO radiation

Back in the mid-1950's while operating in the Pacific during Operation 
"Green Moon" we had a whole room full of R-390's.  The LO radiation problem 
was there and like Clive said, you looked around the room to see who was 
tuning when you detected a signal.  I have know of cases where the operator 
tried to DF an incoming signal only to find that it was being generated 
from within the complex.
