Where we had lots of SP-600's and 390's
all lined up in rows, two to a bay, the
supression of the LO's was a great idea,
and even a better idea if there were radio
operators there tuning around to see what
they could hear. When listening on a freq,
and a "squealer" goes traveling through,
the habit is to look up and down and see
who has their hand on their tuning dial.
