Yes, but.....Scott Co. boasted of their "safe" receivers in numerous magazine
ads. I think they really believed it. I do NOT think this was some kind of
"disinformation campaign" - the Germans clearly did not believe it.
Remember in "Das Boot" the little radio ( Radione (company) or Eltz (company)
type R-3 ? ) playing music? That was not a "safe" receiver in the style of
Scott Co. ( The film didn't make this this up, that this receiver was onboard. )
