This was posted to the Armyradios group. I Know
there is some crossover, but figured I'd post
here anyway. This auction was just for the pack
frame. No radio.

Description
Up for bid is a super-rare and 100% original Vietnam era lightweight rucksack
radio frame pack!! These rigs were basically a lightweight ruck frame with a
PRC-25 radio attached via a special bolt-on radio shelf. These are extremely
rare and very seldom encountered now! I have had this in my collection for many
years now and have decided to sell it. The PRC-25 radio is being sold
separately. The pack consists of an original lightweight rucksack
frame complete with
ALL straps, spare parts bag with long antenna, early style handset and tape
antenna, a M61 field pack for carrying bits of kit underneath the radio and
finally, the radio carrier itself with all securing straps. In addition, I will
include a set of newly made shoulder straps that you can use to replace the
original straps if you want to use the rig for reenactments. The original
shoulder straps are in good shape, but are over 35 years old and
should be kept for
display only due to their scarcity. Overall condition of the pack is excellent
to minty. This is a great opportunity to obtain a very scarce and desirable
piece of field gear. Due to the size and weight of the item, extra postage will
be required.
Okay, now for the rules: Due to recent problems with deadbeat bidders I am
forced to adopt the following rules.
Winning bidder must contact me no later than 48 hours after the end of the
auction with payment intentions. If I do not hear from you, I will relist the
item!
