Hi listarians,

I'm working on a historical project which involves events near a SAC base 
back in 1968.  I've got over a hundred pages of declassified documents but 
need some information to help me interpret some things mentioned in the 
documents and told to me in interviews.

Please note I'm not interested in current equipment or practices.

I'm hoping someone on the list can help me with (generally) what sort of 
2-way radio equipment and frequency assignments they used at Minot AFB for 
communication between  the base and various vehicles and facilities in the 
missile field.  I'm not as interested in specifics as I am in generally how 
these systems operated, what "patch" capabilities existed and like that.

I have long experience with civilian 2-way radio "public service" systems 
and capabilities, but am not familiar with such military systems.

If no one on the list is familiar with what I'm interested in, perhaps one 
of you might refer me to someone likely to be able to help.
