Robert, do you know: did the US sell in Europe their WW2 surplus comm equipment?
Yes, maybe dumb question - BUT the surplus that did appear, mostly later, like the
BC-312s still advertised in French radio magazines i saw in 1972 - could have come
from their own  national military stocks.  And the few QSLs and photos i've seen
from for example, late 1940s German civilian hamshacks, seem to have homebrew or
German military equipment.  -Hue Miller
