That's right. When I said the A and later had miniature tubes, I forgot all
about the 955 oscillator. Apparently all four models used it. The B and C
look pretty much like the A. I have an early Measurements Standard Signal
Generator over in my storage building but never wrote down the model number. But
its front panel is very similar in design to the TS-497A except it's black.
