Some (very few) C 47s were wired for 14 VDC instead of 28 VDC. It was used on those planes to power R5 ARN 7 and other gear. The ARN 7 manual mentions the PE 109. I want to by a PE 109 to run my ARN 7 on 12 VDC. I made a 12 VDC to 110 VAC 400 hz inverter and it works, but the square waves make the selsyns screeeeech. Like fingernails across a chalkboard. I need sine waves.
