Boy I wish I knew them.
A friend of mine and i bought several lots at Barstow about 3 years ago 
and for sure if you buddy up to the Retired guys that are working for 
the second retirement you can get the inside track.
Some of the guys First choice get a hold of it and make it available.
We talked to 2 old timers seemed like father and son  that had a junk 
yard close by that came out and just picked up the stuff left over from 
legal buyers just to clean out the DRMO for free. He said they lived 
very good off of the junk and some times made 2 trips a week to LA to 
sell scrap of all kinds.
