I don't know for sure what ended up happening, I think the buyer either got
something from them or he gave up. I sent all the required documentation to
UPS's insurance company then never heard from anyone after that.

That's not an "Act of God." That is a result of pilot error. I cringe whenever
I see that phrase in a legal document (such as an insurance policy). When you
see that, it is there for someone to weasel themselves out of taking
responsibility for something they should own up to.
Another thing. I would just LOVE to see politicians who talk about personal
responsibility actually take some when they screw up.
