I have some business dealings, as well as student exchange experience, with the 
French and I can tell you that your statement is an untrue generalization.

*You* may hate them, and I am sure there are some of them that hate us, but 
compare that to those who want to destroy us and put things into perspective.

As for their strong opinion that we shouldn't have gone into Iraq, I am 
beginning to think we should have listened to them.  Do not confuse this with a 
"not supporting our troops" kind of nonsense, for I say that out of full respect 
for our troops, enough respect to not want to put them in harm's way for what 
looks to be a folly.
