I think that folks are missing the Queen Mary here. Why bother with that
evil place? I am not saying that I never buy and sell there, I do, but there are
better ways.

I recently offered to help a widow liquidate an estate after a local vulture
had made off with the good stuff for pennies on the dollar. You might think
what was left was junk, and yes, there was planty of dumpster fodder there, but
in among the junk were bags of diamonds.

I had no intention of trying to post all that gear on the evil place, what
with having to photograph everything, pay posting fees, commissions, deal with
idiots who couldn't read the fine print, having to ship yesterday, deal with
shills, schemers, third party payments, or worry about feedback. I posted
everything right here on this and other reflectors as well as on eHam and the ARRL
classifieds. Let me tell you, I delt with all ladies and gentlemen here. I
think and hope everyone was satisfied with what they purchased.

The bottom line is that if you have something to sell, try the reflectors and
free classified sites first. The exposure may well be greater on the evil
place, but here you will be dealing with folks who know their stuff and you will
meet a great bunch of people while you are at it.

By the way, I was able to make a very nice return for the estate.
