Yes, the PRC-16 is described in TM 11-290, February 1957. An interconnecting 
cable would be required as well, of course.

No PRC designation apparently ever applied to the RT-68, but a non-vehicular 
field setup using that radio along with a battery box and a vertical antenna 
attached directly to the set is described in the publication "INFANTRY CO
MMUNICATIONS DATA" published by the United States Army Infantry School, Fort 
Benning, Georgia (January 1966).   Interesting to note that the RT-66/7/8 and RT-70 
all include a socket on the front panel to mate with the  MT-652/GR antenna 
mount.   Only a couple of antenna sections required to operate in the frequency 
range of the RT-68 and 70 (47 - 58.4 MHz), but the antenna length would become 
increasingly unwieldy with the lower frequency sets, especially the RT-66 (20 
- 27.9 MHz).
