Well, I have had good stuff sent to me that arrived as junk due to a
cheap A** dumpster diving. And some of the worst damage came to me from
MBE//UPS stores. I feel that 6 month old could do better than the old
double retired f**ts that think they know how to pack a R-390A etc. in a
single box with peanuts.
I Make custom 500# DW boxes for shipping heavy BA's some have made 7 to
10 trips with a lot of wear but no DAMAGE.
99.999% of HAMS are to cheap to pay for good protection.
I have shipped 1,000's of items over 25 years and have lost on less than
5 damage claims for less than a $1,000.00 out of pocket.
I have lost on 3 of the above claims with UPS and they have passed on
all of the rest.
UPS is not self insured they are covered by Crawford in UTAH.
UPS will say that all are insufficient packed and deny the claim. The
shipper is the only person that can file the claim, not you.
Please picture UPS store/MBE etc. going against UPS. HaHaHa.

If I do not get a LDI claim number after they look at a returned damage
I tell them I will see them in SMALL CLAIMS court, They do not and will
not go there, they will pay.
