[Milsurplus] E-bay farce

You know, I keep hearing all these horror stories about Ebay
and PayPal (70 MILLION Accounts and still growing).
I've been buying and selling there since 1997.
My experience has been overwhelmingly positive.
I've added pieces to my collection I never dreamed of *seeing,*
much less getting the chance to own.
I've sold enough stuff to pay for my radio hobby;
the only way I could possibly participate, since
all my other income goes to raise four kids.
I have done far more than *a thousand* transactions
and I can count the "bad" ones on my fingers.
And have some left over, too.

I gotta tell ya, guys: I think we hear about the
one or two sinners who fart in church, and not the
millions who behave.  It's always fun to commiserate;
I do it, too. But when it's time to make decisions
about this sort of stuff, we need to step back
and look at the bigger picture. I have no doubt that
many of my most treasured pieces would be about 50 feet
deep in a landfill, were it not for Ebay.
I think it's the best thing to happen to the hobby
since solder.

One fella's opinion, of course.
And I don't mind if you stop "Ebay-ing,"
'cuz that means I have less competition
for them goodies ;-).
