Say Amen, Brothers... ;-).

Watch out for the PTT switching *POP* on the sidetone line if you
used headphones and no intercom/interface; it hurts the ears.
And putting a telephone-style "pop-stopper"
across the headphones won't work-
the clipping reflects back through the sidetone winding to the
modulation winding and clips your mod, making it low and
bad-sounding (a little experiance talking).
