[Milsurplus] Query on aircraft HF wire antenna

[Unserviceable but Repairable]

} In our recent discussion of aircraft fixed wire antennas, there was quoted
} an example where the horizontal polarized radiation was 10-15% of the
} total radiated power. I'd like to ask which book actually discusses this

Never saw 10-15% in 'discussion,' but polarization vert'l if antenna end on 
top of rudder, horiz if @ end of elevator (h-stab)

10-15% efficiency might make sense

Hue consider sopping up the 'method of moments' & take MMANA or ElNEC 
for a spin.  MMANA's a freebie.
