[Milsurplus] More on BC375 Tube Subbing

The father of a friend of mine at LSU (c. 1961) was doing the same sort of 
thing, but I never knew any of the details.  The families name was Verlander and 
as I recall, they lived in Larose Cutoff, LA.  I recall Wesley (the son) 
reading the snide remarks about the BC-375 in one of the Surplus Conversion 
Handbooks and laughing and saying that his father must never have read them, or knew 
that they weren't true (which they weren't, but I didn't know it at the 
time).
