Navships 94200.1 shows a picture of the whole set up. The receiver on ebay
belonged in a cabinet along with the push button channel selector. It states
that the receiver/tuner combination weighed 235 pounds in the cabinet.
Shipping weight for the receiver is given as 353 pounds. It was manufactured
under a contract let in 1942 to Wells Gardner, at a cost of $3500 including
spares. It does also state that it is a shore based receiver for reception
of FM signals from sonoradio buoy transmitting equipment. It could be either
manually tuned or automatically select any of 10 preset channels by the push
button controller. - Mike

Well, if someone can send me the Item Number, I'll go and look at it (the
900,116 entry includes one photo). No sonobuoy info, though.
