Dave, sure that's not "radiosonde receiver" ?

Weight. Style of construction. 115/1/60 power.  ( Ship based radiosonde 
receiver? Maybe- but i never heard of such. )  

BTW, Long Shot department: i have been looking for an ARR-16 
sonobuoy receiver for a long time.
