That's a Victoreen/Jordan PN for a thing that's dyno-shaped.  It
makes 250Vdc 50ma, 115V 400hz 30VA if you give it a diet of 27.5VDC
@ 5.5A  It has a heart of Silicon (Ge?) & shore looks like a late
power source for the be-tubed 180L2 trailing wire tuner

There's scads of other numbers including a Sig. Corps ID

How many others have witnessed such a critter?
