A picture of this hand key, shown in a OS2U Kingfisher aircraft, can be
seen by
going to aafradio.org/flightdeck/Peripherals.html and page down to the
last
picture. The key can be seen in the lower right hand corner.
I have a real nice Navy CW hand key model CMI-26003A used in the Naval
service during WWII. It is mounted on a black crinkle aluminum base.
The hand key is also black crinkle and is entirely enclosed in a
black crinkle aluminum case. It has all of the usual adjustments for
tension, spacing adjustments for contacts. The key handle looks like
bakelite with a rounded knob on top and a 1 1/2 round bakelite
plate below. Pictures are available. This would make a nice addition to
the ham room. $49.95 plus shipping.
