Just do a Google search on R-105/ARR-15.

No mods are necessary. I use my R-105 with an outboard audio filter which
plugs in to the headphone jack. I get excellent results with a SCAF-1
filter, and also with the Radio Shack audio DSP box. There are numerous
other external DSP and switched filter boxes, they'll all work.
I even use the ARC-2 transceiver (looks similar to the ARR-15) which is
notorious for the extremely wide IF with one of these devices which make the
transceiver useable on the crowded ham bands.
