My thoughts exactly.  An AN/GRR-5 that is complete with mount and that is nearly NOS would easily merit $250 today.  I hate the PP-308 power supply, but the R-174/URR part is pretty nice for its era.

Folks still want to pay no more than 1960's prices fourty years later, but a BC-348 at $400, for example, is a better price today than the $70 that was typical forty years ago, when corrected for inflation.
