I goofed on a URL yesterday

The BC-187 soundtrack is at

Click where it sez

    --->here<---

I just played it back & was a little surprised to hear I was receiving
on the BC-188 that night. A regen.

Another note on jurassic aspects of the '178. It's manual shows it set
up on a parade ground. In the distance is a Model A.

The install uses an elevated ground called a counterpoise (CTP terminal
on panel). But the BC-191N has a CTP terminal too

Gen'l Stilwell. Was called back to active duty @ age 77 to build
Burma Rd. to supply China thru Indian Ocean. Gen'l Chenault's
Flying Tiger P40s outa Marietta, Ga. gave Stilwell's civil engineers
air cover.

We were building there while escorting British convoys w.
WW-I destroyers. Could it be said we were just itching to get
into fray in mid-1941?

Popular book on the man several years back called "Vinegar Joe." Fine
report fm a pal. I didn't read it.

GREAT GOING RICHARD BRUNNER on getting SAQ!!!!.

I was trying here with a 100' circumference 3-turn loop (can you say
romex?) RX was, no kidding, a DZ-2. Like the SCR-178, another
living pre-octal dinosaur.

Ran radio, calibrator, counter, etc. off little Honda gene to isolate
setup fm power line noise.

But success was not to be some 1000 miles further fm Sweden than Boston

However, can mail a .jpg of install to anyone interested
