I once contacted Chuck about a panadaptor unit I had, NOS, that was made by
Hallicrafters (it had the test sheet to prove Halli made it). His reply
was that he was not interested in things Made by Hallicrafters, just things
Made and Designed by them... so that could leave out of his book a lot of
things done by them during WW II, I believe.

I'll be interested in the answer to that also.
Chuck Dachis does not mention them in his Hallicrafters book, and he was
pretty thorough in collecting everything Hallicrafters ever made. AFIK,
the R-274/SX73 and R-649 were the only things which really fit in the
purpose made mil receiver category, after WW2. Hallicrafters built some
transceivers and other things of that nature, but no other stand alone
receivers than the beforementioned.
