Is the point of contention using NVIS below 3MC? I must have missed some
posts because the testing I remember was with F crit between 5 and 7 MC. As
far as why the change, perhaps because the German Army was thrown out of the
desert and fighting in Europe had different requirements. Changes in
equipment in all areas took different paths as the war progressed and
German production was stressed. As far as members across the loop, the
picture doesn't shoew if they are conductive or just structural. For me? I
was just passing along an article but I do believe the author knows his
business as he has been involved in this type of communications for quite a
while and was in contact with a co-worker during NVIS tests.
Anyway...done with this 'cause I'm back on the road with no web access.
