Oh yes, I'm quite sure that osama and omar are just laughing 'till they
can't stand it anymore. Pretty clever how they were routed from power and
are now reduced to living in caves. They sure showed 'ol W., didn't they.
And how dare us free 25 million Afghan people! Where do we come off shoving
freedom down other people's throats?

Hhhmmm.......... 2,000 brave souls make the ultimate sacrifice in almost
four years of war. Sounds like an overwhelming defeat to me.. Oh, wait -
how many did we lose in six hours on June 6, 1944 just on Omaha alone? But
that was worth it because we helped our good friends, the French. Right???

>Bush went into Iraq on a

Ever hear of United Nations Resolution 1441??? I think it followed the
previous 16 that they had passed sactioning Iraq. It's about time somebody
backed up words with action. Of course, we could always release Saddam,
restore him to power, and apologize to him for the inconvience. Then the
terrorist would see we're nice guys and let us alone. Correct? And WMD's??
Why, I'll bet the Kurds lied and faked all those bodies lying in the
streets. That wasn't gas, they were all just passed out from partying the
night before (probably celebrating the joy of having Saddam as their
president). If anyone was lying about WMD's it was Saddam. Or was Kerry,
Kennedy, Clinton et al all lying about WMD's as well when they were touting
what a threat Iraq was in 1998?

Okay, name one private citizen who has been wrongfully deprived of his or
her civil liberities due to the patriot act. If there was, I'm sure the New
York Times and CNN would be shouting from the hilltop about it.

And while we're on over the top responses, how about that one that FDR made
when he addressed congress on 08 Dec 41? I mean like we only lost 2,300 or
so people that morning. Not like the 3,000+ on 11 Sep 01. Why fight
Germany and Italy? It was Japan that attacked us. We probably even brought
it on ourselves by spreading liberty to the Phillipines and imperically
taking over Hawaii, right?

Ben also thought that the national bird should be the turkey, not the Bald
Eagle. And he also said "God loves man, and the proof is that He gave us
beer."

Sadly, we should have acted against terrorism back in the 1990's when we
were being hit. But then the national priorities seemed to be how to spin
semen stains on a blue dress...... But I guess it's more fun to hate George
W. than it is to see the real world.

Brian (Yes, I proudly served six years in an all volunteer army) Think I'll
grab another beer - Thanks, Ben...
